Involve Your Faith Community
Since our beginning, Habitat for Humanity has been built on a foundation of faith. Our mission to build safe, affordable housing with our local community comes from a desire to put God’s love into action. Partnering with local churches to accomplish this mission is a natural fit. Your churches involvement with Habitat offers a unique way to connect with the community, live out your faith and love your neighbor in a tangible way.
We have a variety of opportunities for your church or faith community to get involved. We can even tailor experiences for church small groups, ladies’ or men’s ministry, or other faith groups. Browse the information below and follow a link to get started.

Volunteer at a Build Site
Working side by side to help construct a Habitat home is a great way to build community among your church members while building hope for local families. No experience is necessary and we will teach your all you need to know on the work site. Contact us to find out how you can schedule a build day for your church group or place of worship.
Organize a ReStore Donation Drive
Profits from our sales at our local ReStore locations in Richmond and Winchester are used to fund the homes we build for local families. By organizing a ReStore donation drive, your church can directly affect our ability to further our mission of building homes, communities, and hope, while helping your families clear their clutter.
