Come on out for a foot-stompin’ good time at the upcoming Habitat Hoedown Barn Dance and Chili Supper on Saturday, November 4 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Happiness Hills Farms in Berea. This event to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties, promises an evening of fun, food, and fundraising for a great cause. The proceeds from the Habitat Hoedown will directly contribute to providing local families in need of a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home.

Get ready to kick up your heels with contra dancing featuring caller Jennifer Escobar—no dance experience necessary!  As a special treat, the Berea Festival dancer will demonstrate dances and encourage guests to join the fun. If dancing isn’t your thing, enjoy our other activities including hay rides, Pie Hops, outdoor games, s’more by the campfire, and more.

This event is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Rachel Hooker, Thrivent Financial Advisor whose office is in downtown Richmond. Rachel, expressed her enthusiasm for supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission, stating, “One of my greatest joys as an advisor is finding ways to give back and live generously in our community. I love being able to partner with Habitat to further their mission of providing homes and hope to local families who need a hand up, not a handout.”

Tickets for the evening’s festivities are a great value at $20 for adults and $15 for children 4 – 12 years old. Kids 3 and under can join in for FREE. Tickets include a chili supper, dancing, hayride, Pie Hop, s’mores, and more.
