Winter Outside, Warmth Within: Building Hope Through the Cold Season
While winter has settled in across Madison and Clark Counties, the work of Habitat for Humanity is anything but on pause. Outside, the air is cold and wintry but inside our organization, the fire is burning bright with plans and preparation.
This season, we’re gearing up for impactful home repairs through our A Brush With Kindness program, helping local homeowners stay safe and secure in the homes they love. At the same time, we’re laying the groundwork for several spring groundbreakings, turning hope into action as new Habitat home builds begin.
Winter is our season of preparation, and spring will begin our season of building.
But we can’t do this work alone. Volunteers are needed to help with home repairs, construction, and special projects, and donations make it possible to keep the momentum going. Your time, talent, and generosity help ensure that when the weather warms, we’re ready to build stronger futures together. We have Home Repair, Community/Faith Partners, and Fundraising committee opportunities available for all!
The days may be cold, but with your support, the impact of Habitat continues to grow - season after season.
