Michelle Boyd, our Executive Assistant, has over 20 years of experience in human resources and accounts payable. There are many aspects of her multifaceted role at Habitat that bring her deep joy and satisfaction, but what truly stands out is witnessing first-hand, families achieve the dream of homeownership. She loves watching our family’s journey unfold first-hand; from that first meeting, to picking out siding colors, to on-site build days, to the dedication ceremony when we hand them their first set of keys. Her work at Habitat is both invaluable and personally inspiring.

More recently, Michelle expanded her role and began managing the Richmond ReStore.  She adores seeing families come in and be able to shop for quality items for their home that are affordable. Michelle says, “It’s not just about providing household goods and supplies; it's about empowering families to create comfortable living spaces without financial strain. The accessibility to affordable, quality items contributes greatly to their overall well-being and sense of pride in their homes.” Michelle also feels fortunate to be surrounded by a team of dedicated and passionate coworkers.
